Perhaps the fact that he accepted his peerage 10 years ago on the promise that he would be domiciled for tax purposes if that were granted is relevant here? also his inability to confirm one way or the other for those ten years could be an own goal on the part of the ever beleivable Tories?
is there any little wonder that the BBC would favour anything but the Tories, when as a sop to Mr Murdoch’s empire (tax status?) for his financial and ‘the Sun wot won it’ support, will be the splitting up of the BBC in order that Sky can take over the economically viable bits?

Hmm… you may have been running faster than me, but we both travelled the same distance in the same time, and I did it with more efficiency and wasn’t even out of breath at the end! Does that mean I won?

Am really impressed that you managed to get out for any sort of a run after the marathon lunch of 27th.
It was wonderful to have been included in the lunch invitation, lovely to see you and Kim again and fascinating to watch the dynamics. Realise I no longer have your email address as we had corresponded via work and I have omitted to transfer all the addresses on change of job. So hope you will forgive me for using your running blog to wish you both all the very best fo 2010.
