I hope that the purists among you will forgive me for joining in with the following toast:

Happy Burns Night, mi gud Scottish lassies and laddies

‘joy ya’ haggis wi’ bashit neeps an’ champit tatties

Gud health ta all ya typsy lowland an’ highland lairds

An’ may the morning break easy on ya whiskey heads!
